Important Information Regarding Outer Beach Camping

All outer beach rentals require a generator, which we have available for rent. Several parks offer access to outer beaches for off-road vehicles (ORVs). A Suffolk County Parks Recreational Vehicle Use permit is required and can be purchased at various locations.

How to Purchase the Outer Beach Permit:

- Green Key Card

- Vehicle Registration

- Driver’s License

If you don't have a Green Key, you can purchase one along with the Outer Beach Permit. Note that some areas may be closed due to conditions, maintenance, or bird nesting. Check the Suffolk County Parks social media pages or call the park for the latest information.
